The History Channel’s set a November 12, 2024 premiere date for The Curse of Oak Island season 12. Will the new season bring the Fellowship of the Dig any closer to discovering actual treasure? Is the Money Pit just a big tease? The new season’s promo reveals that the team is zeroing in on shaft two which is supposedly just 14′ from the true money pit. The one-minute video also shows the Fellowship encountering a void where there shouldn’t be one, and bringing up a piece of silver treasure.
“This story is a testament to the power of faith and hope shaft,” says one of the Lagina brothers. And Rick Lagina reminds the team they can only do this if they work together.
New season 12 episodes will air on Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT.
“In the epic 12th season of The History Channel’s hit series The Curse of Oak Island, Michigan-born brothers Rick and Marty Lagina are back, alongside their talented team, and closer than ever to solving the 229-year-old treasure mystery. Using cutting-edge technology, the team pinpoints evidence of a large source of precious metals deep within the Money Pit area and executes a core-drilling operation to zero in on the legendary valuables already discovered during large-scale excavations,” reads the official synopsis.
“Additionally, new discoveries will shed light on the treasure mystery and new secrets will be revealed, corroborating the team’s suspicion that Oak Island has been visited numerous times by medieval European cultures and may contain multiple treasures. Could it be that we’re close to solving one of the greatest treasure mysteries of all time?”
The History Channel is also introducing a spin-off series Tales From Oak Island on November 19th at 10pm ET/PT. The new entry in the Oak Island story will look at different theories about the island as well as figures connected to its past.
