‘Dark Winds’ Season 2 Episode 6 Photos, Cast and Finale Details

Season two of AMC’s critically acclaimed drama Dark Winds wraps up much too soon with episode six, the second season’s finale. “Hózhó náhásdlįį” will premiere on August 31, 2023 on AMC+ and air on Sunday, September 3rd at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.

The season two cast is led by Zahn McClarnon (Fargo) as Lt. Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon (Roswell, New Mexico) as Jim Chee, and Jessica Matten (Burden of Truth) as Sgt. Bernadette Manuelito. Deanna Allison (Edge of America) stars as Emma Leaphorn and Elva Guerra (Reservation Dogs) is Sally Growing Thunder.

Guest stars include Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Picard) as Rosemary Vines, Nicholas Logan (Dopesick) as Colton Wolf, A Martinez (Longmire) as Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena, and Joseph Runningfox (The Politician) as Henry Leaphorn, Lt. Joe Leaphorn’s father.

“Hózhó náhásdlįį (Beauty Is Restored)” Plot: Leaphorn and Chee discover evidence that connects their cases, only for Leaphorn to realize justice won’t be easily served. Meanwhile, Manuelito prepares for a big life change.

This season, Lt. Joe Leaphorn (McClarnon), reunites with Jim Chee (Gordon), his former deputy turned private eye, when their separate cases bring them together in pursuit of the same suspect. They find themselves in the high desert of Navajo Country chasing a killer who’s turned his sights on them to protect a secret that rips open old wounds and challenges Leaphorn’s moral and professional code.

With the help of Sgt. Manuelito (Matten) and Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena, Leaphorn and Chee must thwart their would-be assassin and restore balance not only to their own lives, but to the reservation that depends on them.
