Netflix’s The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare takes a deep dive into the lives of the four University of Idaho students brutally murdered in November 2022. The three-part documentary series premieres on July 29, 2026 and was directed by Unknown Number: The High School Catfish‘s Skye Borgman.
“When I first came to this story, I kept coming back to one simple thought: four young people lost their lives, and they deserved to be remembered for far more than the tragedy that took them. Making this series became deeply personal to me because I felt a responsibility to keep Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin at the center of every decision we made,” stated Skye Borgman. “At a time when so much attention has been focused on the case itself, I felt it was important to create something that brings the focus back to who they were, the lives they lived, and the love that still surrounds them.”
Borgman, Oscar nominee Joe Berlinger, Gina Scarlata, Jon Kamen, and Jen Isaacson serve as executive producers.
