It all comes down to this. Starz shared the trailer for the final episodes of Power Book II: Ghost along with a warning that no one is safe. The one-minute trailer features a montage of upcoming scenes, minus their dialogue, and the fan response on YouTube is a combination of disappointment over the series ending and guessing who’s about to die.
Season four part one premiered on Friday, Jun 7, 2024, with episode five of the final season airing on July 5th. The series returns with part two on September 6th at midnight ET on the Starz app and at 8pm ET/PT on Starz linear.
Season four of the critically acclaimed drama stars Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick, Mary J. Blige as Monet Tejada, Cliff “Method Man” Smith as Davis MacLean, Gianni Paolo as Brayden Weston, and Woody McClain as Cane Tejada. Lovell Adams-Gray plays Dru Tejada, LaToya Tonodeo is Diana Tejada, Alix Lapri is Effie Morales, Larenz Tate is Rashad Tate, Caroline Chikezie is Noma, and Michael Ealy is Detective Don Carter. LightSkinKeisha is a recurring guest star as Brushaundria Carmichael.
Starz offered this description of what’s in store for the final episodes of the series:
“Part one of Power Book II: Ghost uncovered unanswered high-stakes questions. Part two of the final season will showcase the adage ‘Like father, Like son.’ Tariq finds himself in an eerily similar situation, just like his late father, Ghost, stuck between a rock and a hard place, with the choice to leave the game or take over. Entrapped by Detective Carter, the Tejada family realizes their safety is not guaranteed. Monet fiercely fights for her family to become whole again, but is it too late? Noma is working her way to the top of the food chain. Meanwhile, her daughter, Anya, gets too close to the game, forcing Noma to think twice about her actions.”
