The 2024 San Diego Comic-Con is edging closer to normal after years of Covid-19 and strikes affecting the panel lineup. While the schedule’s light on film panels, the same can’t be said for television. There are plenty of TV panels to choose from over the first three days of SDCC 2024, including The Boys, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Penguin, and Those About to Die.

The casts of Teacup, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, What We Do in the Shadows, Snowpiercer, Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, Silo, and Dexter: Original Sin are also making the trek to San Diego. Star Trek and The Walking Dead Universes will be well represented, and more than a dozen animated shows are hosting panels including Futurama, The Simpsons, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and SpongeBob SquarePants.

The 2024 San Diego Comic-Con kicks off on Wednesday, July 24th with a preview night followed by full days of panels Thursday, July 25th through Sunday, July 28th. The following list of television panels includes descriptions provided by SDCC.

5th Annual Hollywood Game Changers: A Conversation with the Women Behind Popular Film and TV Projects – 11am-12pm, Room 7AB
Celebrate the women in film and TV in the 5th Annual “Hollywood Game Changers” panel. Hear stories about making your mark in the industry all while blazing a trail for the next generation of creatives and CEOs. FOX Animation Domination: Universal Basic Guys and Krapopolis – 8:15pm-9:45pm, Room 6DE
FOX is bringing Krapopolis back to Comic-Con and introducing Universal Basic Guys to Comic-Con fans with a special screening in advance of the series premiere this fall. Co-creators and executive producers Adam Malamut and Craig Malamut (Game of Zones) present Universal Basic Guys, which centers on two brothers, Mark and Hank Hoagies, who lose their jobs to automation and are given $3,000 a month in a new basic income program. Now they’re using their free time and free money to find purpose in a world where they’re no longer needed.

Then, join creator and executive producer Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty) as he returns to the Comic-Con stage with some very special guests and new footage from the upcoming season of Krapopolis. Set in mythical ancient Greece, Krapopolis tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters that try their hand at running the world’s first cities— without trying to kill each other, that is. The series features the voices of Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders), and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel).

Let’s Hear It for Prime Video’s The Boys – 10am-11am, Hall H
Showrunner and executive producer Eric Kripke joins the series’ stars for a postseason finale celebration. Hear from the cast and creator about the head-exploding, jaw-dropping fourth season, along with behind-the-scenes secrets, favorite moments, and thrilling surprises. Based on the New York Times bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes who are as popular as celebrities abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Featuring sneak peeks at unreleased Kite Man: Hell Yeah! scenes and a look at what’s in store for Harley Quinn’s upcoming fifth season, the cast and creators will talk about both Max Original adult animated series from DC and WB Animation. House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 7: Special Advance Screening – 10:30pm-11:45pm, Room 6A
An exclusive advance screening of the penultimate episode of House of the Dragon. The episode is written for television by David Hancock and directed by Loni Peristere and will debut on HBO and Max on Sunday, July 28.

Ghosts – 10am-10:45am, Ballroom 20
Ghosts, one of television’s top comedies on CBS and Paramount+, follows Samantha and Jay, a couple running a bed and breakfast that is inhabited by ghosts that only Samantha can see and hear. Join series stars and executive producers for a lively and “spirited” panel conversation discussing the season 3 cliffhanger and upcoming reveals for what’s ahead in season 4.

My Adventures with Superman Screening Presentation and Panel – 10am-11am, Indigo Ballroom
Executive producers Jake Wyatt, Josie Campbell, and Brendan Clogher and voice cast members Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, and Ishmel Sahid answer your burning questions from season 2. Superman & Lois Special Video Presentation and Q&A – 11:15am-12:15pm, Hall H

The series The Toys That Made Us reinvigorated love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, Barbie, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, and other toys fans have grown nostalgic for. Now, after nearly 5 years since its last episode, Brian Volk-Weiss (Netflix’s The Movies That Made Us, Disney’s Behind the Attraction) and the Nacelle team share an update about the future of the “documentary series about the toys that we all know.”
