ID’s sharing a first look at their new true crime series Fatal Affairs. As the title suggests, the six-episode season explores love affairs that end in murder.
Per ID: “Fatal Affairs will chronicle stories of love triangles turned into mysterious whodunits when one of the three ends up dead. From workplace flings, secrets between schoolteachers, and even Tinder-trysts, in this risky game of illicit love and secret sex, one lover ends up paying the ultimate price. Psychologist Dr. Michelle Callahan serves as a relationship expert through each story, leading viewers through each fatal affair.”
The true crime series premieres on July 22, 2024 with “Lessons in Lust.” The first episode focuses on the case of Brookstown Middle Magnet Academy teachers Lyntell Washington and Robert Marks. The two were engaged in a steamy affair “but when it is revealed that one of them is married, lust quickly turns to rage and then a tragic act that devastates the community.”
New episodes air on Mondays at 9pm on ID and stream on Max.
