Sinners dominated the 2026 Oscar nominations, scoring a record-breaking 16 nominations. One Battle After Another followed with 13 nominations. Three films—Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, and Sentimental Value—earned nine nominations, while Hamnet picked up eight. And when the votes were tallied, it was One Battle After Another that scored the most wins, taking home six, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Casting, Best Supporting Actor (Sean Penn), Best Editing, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Winners were announced live on ABC during the 2026 Oscars held on March 15th at 4pm PT/7pm ET. Conan O’Brien returned as host, kicking off the awards show with jokes that hit on the Epstein files, Timothée Chalamet’s slam of ballet and opera, and streaming services.
