There’s something seriously wrong with Ben in the latest clip from Paramount Pictures’ Primate. Directed by Johannes Roberts (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), the horror/thriller is set to open in theaters on January 9, 2026.
The R-rated thriller stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, Troy Kotsur, and Victoria Wyant. The cast also includes Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann, Tienne Simon, and Miguel Torres Umba.
Paramount Pictures offers this synopsis: “In Primate, a group of friends’ tropical vacation turns into a terrifying, primal tale of horror and survival.”
Roberts and Ernest Riera co-wrote the screenplay, and Roberts, Vicki Dee Rock, Nathan Samdahl, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary executive produced. Producers include Walter Hamada, John Hodges, and Bradley Pilz.
