Criminal Minds: Evolution is confirmed to stick around for another season. Paramount+ has officially renewed the drama for season 19 ahead of its season 18 premiere.
Season 18 will premiere on Paramount+ on May 8, 2025, with new episodes of the 10 episode season streaming on Thursdays.
“Season 18 of Criminal Minds: Evolution picks up six months after prisoners attack the notorious Sicarius Killer, Elias Voit, leading his restless followers on the dark web to begin wreaking havoc all over the country,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “In order to stop this nefarious group from killing more innocents, the BAU is forced to work alongside an increasingly unpredictable Voit who has his own agenda.”
Season 18 stars Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, A.J. Cook is Jennifer ‘JJ’ Jareau, Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia, RJ Hatanaka as Tyler Green, and Aisha Tyler as Dr. Tara Lewis. Zach Gilford plays Elias Voit, Adam Rodriguez plays Luke Alvez, and Paget Brewster is Emily Prentiss.
Erica Messer (Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) guides the series as showrunner. Messer executive produces along with Breen Frazier, Chris Barbour, Glenn Kershaw, and Mark Gordon.
