The super short How to Train Your Dragon Super Bowl spot shows a little more of Toothless and his human buddy Hiccup in action. The 20-second teaser provides a brief glimpse at Hiccup and Toothless in the air and preparing for battle.
Mason Thames (The Black Phone) stars as Hiccup, Nico Parker (The Last of Us) plays Astrid, Nick Frost (Truth Seekers) is Gobber, and
Gerard Butler reprises his role as Chief Stoick the Vast from the animated films for the live-action adaptation. Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Gabriel Howell (Bodies), Bronwyn James (Wicked), Harry Trevaldwyn (Smothered), Ruth Codd (The Midnight Club), Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Murray McArthur (Game of Thrones) also star.
The original animated film’s Dean DeBlois writes, directs, and produces the reimagining. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel also serve as producers.
How to Train Your Dragon opens in theaters on June 13, 2025.

DreamWorks offers this synopsis of the live-action version of the animated blockbuster: “On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Thames) stands apart.
