‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Shares Masquerade Ball Photos and New Video

Bridgerton‘s annual Season of Love celebration unleashed new details on the upcoming fourth season, including confirmation that fan favorite Simone Ashley will return as Kate Sharma, Anthony Bridgerton’s wife. The virtual fan celebration included a new teaser for the much-anticipated season that focuses on the relationship between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

New photos were released from the masquerade ball, which will be featured in episode one. The photos also show new season four cast members Katie Leung as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li.

Showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed season four will include more characters who “run the ton.” Fans will also be treated to much more of the Queen’s right-hand man, Brimsley, played by Hugh Sachs.

“The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball,” reads Netflix’s synopsis.

In addition to Thompson and Ha, season four regulars include Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Victor Alli (Lord John Stirling), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Julie Andrews (Lady Whistledown), Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley), Masali Baduza (Michaela Stirling), and Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Bridgerton). Hannah Dodd (Francesca Stirling), Daniel Francis (Lord Marcus Anderson), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton), and Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte) are also part of the series’ talented ensemble.

Rounding out the series regulars are Will Tilston (Gregory Bridgerton), Polly Walker (Portia Featherington), Emma Naomi (Alice Mondrich), and Hugh Sachs (Brimsley).
