Hulu’s upcoming documentary series Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke explores the events surrounding the arrest and conviction of once-popular YouTube vlogger Ruby Franke. Franke was arrested in August 2023 and charged with six counts of felony child abuse. She ultimately pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree aggravated child abuse.
The three-part docuseries was directed by Olly Lambert (Ukraine: The People’s Fight) and produced by Passion Pictures. All three episodes will premiere on February 27, 2025.
Hulu released this synopsis of the docuseries:
“When popular vlogger Ruby Franke is arrested for child abuse in August 2023, it quickly becomes one of the biggest trending stories in America.
