How do you make your garden grow and thrive? According to NBC’s trailer for Grosse Pointe Garden Society, something has to die for flowers to blossom. And in NBC’s new drama, it seems that the dead thing providing the garden its nutrients is a human body.
The series follows four members of a suburban garden club who find their lives intertwined by scandal, mischief, and a shared secret – a murder no one wants to talk about,” reads NBC’s synopsis. “As dark truths begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden above.”
The drama stars AnnaSophia Robb (Rebel Ridge) as Alice, Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as Birdie, Ben Rappaport (Law & Order: SVU) as Brett, Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder) as Catherine, and Alexander Hodge (Insecure) as Doug. Season one’s cast also includes Nancy Travis (Last Man Standing) as Patty, Matthew Davis (Legacies) as Joel, and Felix Wolfe (Zero) as Ford.
Good Girls‘ Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs guide the series as co-creators, co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Casey Kyber also serves as an executive producer.
Grosse Pointe Garden Society will premiere on February 23, 2025. New episodes will air on Sundays at 10pm ET/PT following The Americas and Suits LA.
