Hulu has set a July 14, 2023 premiere date for the Imagine Dragons documentary Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas. The documentary film examines the band’s roots via archival interviews with Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, and Daniel Platzman, along with performances from their current “Mercury Tour.”
The streaming service offers this description of the documentary: “Far from the days of playing in dive bars and casinos across the Las Vegas Strip, Imagine Dragons returns home to perform at the city’s largest stage, Allegiant Stadium, in a triumphant concert film that showcases the band’s rise to fame and the city that helped shape their sound.”
Imagine Dragons’ “Mercury Tour” kicked off in Miami on February 6, 2022 and will wrap up on September 10, 2023 in Berlin. The band recently lifted the spirits of striking Writers Guild of America members in Los Angeles with an acoustic performance.
Matt Eastin, director of multiple Imagine Dragons music videos (including “Monday,” “Wrecked,” and “Cutthroat”), directed Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas and served as a producer. Mac Reynolds, Turner Pope, John Janick, and Steve Berman executive produced.
