ABC’s promo for The Rookie season eight, episode three, teases that the episode is the series’ “twistiest” yet. Episode three, “The Red Place,” will air on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 10pm ET/PT.
“The Red Place” Plot: Nolan makes a quiet arrest, and Lucy and Celina race to rescue a kidnapping victim. Meanwhile, Harper and Lopez help outsmart a killer, and Miles visits a familiar face.
The series stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, and Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune. Shawn Ashmore plays Wesley Evers, Lisseth Chavez is Celina Juarez, and Deric Augustine is Miles Penn.
