Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, Angels in America) is guest star of the week, playing a decluttering guru on CBS’s Elsbeth season two episode 16, “Hot Tub Crime Machine.” Episode 16, directed by James Whitmore Jr. and written by Erica Larson and Jonelle Lightbourne, is taking a break during the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship and will air on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 10pm ET/PT.
Carrie Preston stars as Elsbeth Tascioni, Wendell Pierce stars as Captain C.W. Wagner, and Carra Patterson is back as Officer Kaya Blanke. Robert King, Michelle King, Liz Glotzer, and Jonathan Tolins serve as executive producers.
“Hot Tub Crime Machine” Plot: After a man’s suspicious death in a hot tub, Elsbeth consults his wife, Freya (Mary-Louise Parker), a decluttering guru whose less-is-more philosophy and controlling personality appear at odds with her “throuple” relationship.
