Dark Winds Season 3

AMC’s released an early teaser for season three of the critically acclaimed drama Dark Winds, along with the first three photos from the upcoming season. “We all have a line that runs down the middle of our heart,” says Leaphorn in the short promo video. “That line separates monsters from men, and I’m afraid I have crossed that line.”

The network’s first season three video confirms a Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT premiere date.

Zahn McClarnon (The Son) and Kiowa Gordon (Roswell, New Mexico) return to lead the cast as Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee. “The expanded third season, featuring eight episodes, picks up six months after the events of season two and follows Lt. Joe Leaphorn (McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Gordon) as they investigate the disappearance of two boys, with only an abandoned bicycle and blood-stained patch of ground left in their wake,” reads AMC’s synopsis. “Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito (Matten) attempts to settle into her new life 500 miles from home with the Border Patrol, but stumbles across a conspiracy involving human and drug smuggling with far-reaching implications.”
