Bad Bunny scored eight nominations, topping the list of nominees of the 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs). Bad Bunny’s nominations include Artist of the Year, Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Male Pop Artist, Favorite Pop Album, Favorite Male Latin Artist, Favorite Latin Album, and Favorite Latin Song. If Bad Bunny wins in all eight categories, he’ll tie Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most wins in a single year.

Beyonce, Drake, and Taylor Swift earned six nominations each, with all three joining Bad Bunny as nominees in the Artist of the Year category. Adele, Harry Styles, and The Weeknd followed close behind with five each, filling out the Artist of the Year category. Swift holds the Artist of the Year record, winning six times. She’s also the record-holder for the most AMA wins overall with 34.

The 2022 American Music Awards will air live on ABC from Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20th at 8pm ET/PT (tape-delayed on the West Coast). Voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and Twitter.
