It looks like Fox’s 9-1-1 fans are about to get an episode focusing on Athena and Bobby with season six episode three. Hopefully, the episode will also devote a little time to revealing Hen’s decision about which career path to follow. “The Devil You Know” will air on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Aisha Hinds talked about Hen’s predicament. “This episode puts Hen in a position where she’s forced to grapple with questions that don’t always come with an index card that has the answer on it. She has to ask herself, ‘Am I going to try again? Am I going to stay with the department? Am I gonna make decisions that are better for me and my family, and me being present with them?’ These are big questions and big choices that she’s gonna have to make. But it also challenges what she has always dreamed about, which is becoming a doctor. So she’s going to be making some big decisions,” said Hinds.
The cast is led by Angela Bassett as Athena Grant and Peter Krause as Bobby Nash. Ryan Guzman plays Eddie Diaz, Aisha Hinds stars as Henrietta ‘Hen’ Wilson, Oliver Stark is Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley, Kenneth Choi is Howie ‘Chimney’ Han, and Jennifer Love Hewitt is Maddie Buckley.
“The Devil You Know” Plot: While in Florida caring for her ailing father, Athena and Bobby investigate the disappearance of her childhood friend from 45 years ago.
