Justin Hartley is back in the lead role as Colter Shaw when CBS’s Tracker returns for season four on October 4, 2026. The official trailer for the new season shows the rewardist, as he calls himself, is still on the road and still trying to find missing people.
New episodes will air on Sundays at 9pm ET/PT. Season four, episode one airs at 9:30pm ET.
“Safe Harbor” Plot: Colter’s search for a teenage boy’s missing father leads him to a dangerous criminal operation at the Port of Los Angeles. The season premiere was written by Alex Katnelson and Annakate Chappell and directed by Joel Novoa.

In addition to Justin Hartley, Chris Lee returns to star as Randy and Fiona Rene’s back as Reenie Greene. Hartley, Katsnelson, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid, Sharon Lee Watson, Travis Donnelly, and Ryan O’Nan serve as executive producers. Author Jeffrey Deaver is a producer.
CBS had four of the five top series during the 2025-2026 broadcast season. Yellowstone spinoff Marshals earned the top spot with 19.3 million viewers, and Tracker season three came in second. Marshals will return for season two in the 8-9pm Sunday night time slot, after 60 Minutes and leading into Tracker.
