ABC’s summer 2026 lineup is made up of primetime specials and competition series, including the premiere of the Dancing with the Stars spinoff, Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro. DWTS season 34 winner Robert Irwin is hosting the dancing competition’s inaugural season, and Mark Ballas and his mom, Shirley Ballas, are the judges.
Returning DWTS pros will join the mother-and-son team as guest judges and mentors.
ABC also announced summer premiere dates for returning game shows Press Your Luck, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and Celebrity Family Feud. CMA Fest presented by SoFi will kick off the summer season on June 25, and The 2026 ESPYS Presented by Capital One will air live on July 15. The network’s popular Sunday night movies return with The Sandlot, Sister Act, Speed, and Independence Day.

Filming this June at CMA Fest in Nashville, CMA Fest presented by SoFi will feature never-before-seen performances and surprise collaborations from country music’s hottest stars. Host and performances for the three-hour primetime special will be revealed at a later date.
THE ESPYS
Every year, The ESPYS hosts top celebrities from sports and entertainment who come together to commemorate the past year by recognizing major athletic achievements, reliving unforgettable moments, and saluting the leading performers and performances. The ESPYS also helps raise awareness and funds for the V Foundation for Cancer Research, the charity founded by ESPN and late basketball coach Jim Valvano at the first ESPYS in 1993.

Hosted by Elizabeth Banks, Press Your Luck is a game of wits, strategy and high stakes as contestants compete for a chance at life-changing cash and prizes. During each game of Press Your Luck, three contestants battle each other, answering questions to earn spins on the Big Board. Contestants then use their spins to win cash and prizes while trying to avoid the WHAMMY, which could take all their winnings and leave them with nothing.
