CBS’s final Matlock episode before the winter break promises to be one fans will talk about for the next two months. Season two, episode eight, “Call It a Christmas Gift,” will air on Thursday, December 11, 2026 at 9pm ET/PT.
“Call It a Christmas Gift” Plot: With the holidays approaching, the team’s secrets start to come to light while they take on a harassment case involving the city’s fire department. Meanwhile, Sarah makes a shocking confession that could put her entire relationship with Olympia at risk. Damani Johnson & Katie Wech wrote the episode, and Mike Listo directs.
Kathy Bates leads the cast as Madeline “Matty” Matlock. Skye P. Marshall stars as Olympia Lawrence, Jason Ritter plays Julian Markston, David Del Rio is Billy Martinez, Leah Lewis stars as Sarah Franklin, Sam Anderson is Edwin Kingston, and Aaron Harris is Alfie Kingston.
