The official trailer for Lionsgate’s The Housemaid opens with Amanda Seyfried screaming. A job interview follows, which leads to something sinister going on behind closed doors. The trailer teases secrets will be exposed and blood will be spilled.
Sydney Sweeney (who’s in practically everything this year) stars along with Brandon Sklenar (1923), Michele Morrone (Another Simple Favor), and Elizabeth Perkins (The Afterparty). Rebecca Sonnenshine adapted Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel and Paul Feig (Another Simple Favor) directs.

The Housemaid opens in theaters on December 19, 2025.
