Marvel doesn’t want you to forget that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which released a new TV spot during the Buccaneers and Cowboys wild card game, will be available in 3D. The studio’s also busy hyping the fact the film was shot with IMAX cameras, and if you buy the more expensive ticket, you’ll be treated to 26% more picture due to IMAX’s 1.90:1 aspect ratio.
The first film in phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp, Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang. All six are featured on new character posters that accompanied the TV spot’s release.
The cast also includes David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was directed by Peyton Reed and is set to open in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023. Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard serve as producers.
The Plot: Superhero partners Scott Lang (Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
